As soon as lua lua stated he wanted to join us you knew his newcastle days were over anyway,surely gus will move on as he can't spend ages trying sign a player that may never join and other targets need to be signed.

1)He isn't going on newcastle's trip
2)Pardew has evidently told him he can go
3)various sources in here saying some sort of deal is back on
4)Leon Jeanne told 2 new signings are imminent and one of those is a winger

All to me point to him being an Albion player very soon (apart from point 3 maybe!!)

I was told by my "SAUCE" yesterday that the Lua Lua deal is "imminent" and that it is just taking a bit of time. I would fully expect him to be heading off to Portugal with the squad and if not, certainly be joining by the start of the season. Worrying thing is, he said the Lansbury deal is a bit more unlikely what with Premiership interest and all yet it is certainly not dead in the water, as illustrated by the Craig Mackail Smith signing. Exciting times, Lua Lua will be a great capture.
