Have watched a fair bit of Albion women’s football. We are trying to play possession football but rarely keep the ball. In fact, we often give the ball way in the most frustrating positions, particularly when the opposition expect us to f*** up! Vidosic really should adapt and go more direct, especially with Parris and Kirby up front.

Worthing
Since the winter break , results and performances have mostly been disappointing
They have.

Caught the last 20 minutes of today’s game, and they were a little unfortunate towards the end, but the damage was done in the first half.

We are about 4 players from being a top 4 team IMO.

Kirby should have shot at the end instead of laying it off, but once she did the quality just wasn’t there from ?Seike.

Great effort from Poppy at the end.

Havw watched a lot of this. Appreciate different game to men but passsing and first touch is unbelievably poor

Have made a minor but major addition

When you watch men's game with all the diving and rolling around and shit, do you write in the match threads "Have watched a lot of this. Appreciate different game to women but the mentality and cheating is unbelievably poor", or do you save the generalising and belitteling insults and digs for when women play?

I dont know how you consider making observations on our womens team is belitteling. With TBs commitment and getting established players in for many seasons am just surprised basics like passing and first touch. are so poor. I agree mens players throwing themselves on ground and surrounding ref are the worst thing and unbelievable has not stamped out. Delighted this is not part of womens game (yet)
I have taken my niece to some games. On a general note apart from a few exceptions like Arsenal I am amazed with investment and out of proportion media coverage how little interest even a big clubs in attending games. I even saw that big game Real Madrid v Arsenal recently had a gate of about 9k

Well done for taking your niece along. Football's for everyone and it's good to encourage young girls to both watch and play the beautiful game.

As regards the above, it was interesting to hear PBOBE's thoughts on women's game sustainability in the interview with BBC Sport's Emma Sanders:

Barber said WSL clubs "understand" they will endure financial losses for a period of time as they invest in women's football but added that they must look to make it sustainable.

"The most important thing is that we are investing in the right things to turn around that position in the not-so-distant future because we can't just run women's football clubs at a loss forever," he added.

"That doesn't make any sense for anyone and isn't healthy for aspiring future female athletes who want to come into an environment, be paid properly and looked after.

"We have to create a business that is sustainable for the future."

Thank you. .Delighted Albion are still investing.. As I have said that considering huge investment and long time over the top media coverage I am surprised it is taking so long to attract an increased following that is needed.
The biggest thing womens football has acieved is that it is now become the norm to play football
