Rape of Hastings, Sussex
An old lady got chucked out of W3I in the West Upper in the first half. Bad times.

Forest are so difficult/annoying/frustrating to play against… really physical and committed in terms of stifling attacking play and breaking at pace… they’ve done it to perfection this season… they’re shit to watch in the defensive phase, making opponents attacking play look laboured by forcing players back and wide to retain the ball and eventually crowding out in numbers and then bang… it’s up the field to wide runners in an instant… relies massively on the players remaining committed, which they have this year… perhaps unsustainable in a CL year though… time will tell.

Ultimately they’re really tricky to look good against, as they stifle, strangle and bully opponents… absolute fucker tactic would be an apt name for their wearisome system.

I’m proud of our boys for keeping going and when Forest finally tired, suddenly the gaps appeared… sadly just a little too late.

We move on, let’s use this as motivation to at least try to catch the buggers in the PL ⚽

They are where the are mainly because they have had almost zero injuries this season so they can play a settled best 11 every game.

I’m gutted but less so than I was against United at Wembley, that day we were the better team whereas today I thought Forest bossed it overall despite us having a better ET. Missing 2 pens isn’t good enough so yeh we move on quickly to Euro qualifying

Subs won it at Newcastle. Had Pedro started and Welbeck came it might have been different, but timing prevented that. Decent defensive performance, but the attacking sparkle was missing. What a f***ing boring anti football team Forest are. If they play Palace in the semis, the world will close their curtains.

They're even trickier to play against when the ref plays for them as well.

Think some of the players who had been away on international duty looked jaded Mitoma especially. Hopefully Webster's injury isn't too bad although Georgino looks like a few weeks lay off

Considering he’s in a leg brace and crutches I doubt we will see him on the pitch again this season given there is only 7.5 weeks left.
