Shit performance, not at races and better team won. Hopefully they’ll scalp Palace next.

First half they were brilliant and we were shit.
Second half we were better. They tired.
Extra time, we were the team that looked more likely to win (bar one chance for them) but we failed to be clinical.
Fine margins.
At least we don’t have to face getting away from that shit hole in north west London.

I thought Forest showed us how to get into a team in the first half. We can learn from that.

Forest have the winning strategy against us. We just cannot get it through their midfield and create many decent chances.
Was a decent defensive performance from both teams, both teams poor on the attack, we cancelled each other out.
As soon as it went to penalties, there was only ever going to be one winner.
Really hope we can push on and qualify for Europe in the league now, then this missed opportunity won't feel as frustrating as it does right now.
Hopefully the injuries aren't too bad.

"They sit in a low block and wait for transitional moments - that is their game. It is the game we expected because they never do anything else. They are successful like this and it is tough to play against them. We were unable to find solutions against them, especially in the first half. We were not on our highest level today."
On how the players are feeling that missed penalties:
"How should a player feel when he misses a penalty? They are disappointed but I take responsibility for the penalties. They are young players and will learn from it. They didn't shoot that bad, the Forest goalkeeper made two impressive saves. That is penalties."

"It is important that we don't let it affect us and we have to show a reaction but first of all we are disappointed. We have to show a reaction and stick together."

The more the game wore on the more inevitable it was that the classic Portuguese/Spanish style shithousery would win out over a team trying to play football. Not that FH got it quite right, but we were the only team trying to play good football Nand win the game in a classy way.
I thought MInteh was very poor attacking. I wish we had Solly on form.
I hope Pedro has a few good games before the season ends and we get top money back . He's not a team player and looked poor when he came on, selfish when he had the ball. He's good, but an odd one out now I think.

Forest are so annoying and flukey. We were the first-half decent team they've played in the competition and they've got to the semis thanks to three penalty shoot out wins. Somehow they've also had virtually no injuries all season (compare that to us!). Their success is largely down to their physicality and they are masters of gamesmanship. I'd almost rather see Palace reach the final than them.
You’ll get over it. They played well.

Not me personally, but yes, while it was clever of the Forest lad to stick his foot into the space where Mitoma’s arm would collect it, I’d have been disappointed if it remained given after the ref had got a second look at it.
I don’t like VAR, but here it gave the ref the opportunity to see what happened from an angle he just couldn’t have seen himself. The right decision arrived at eventually imo.

Their defensive midfielder stopped our momentum which nullified our attack. Didn't see his number, he had black boots and top.
