True but we've had plenty of night game sell outs over the last few seasons with less on the line.We don't have a massive fan base.
Sometimes it is easy to forget that.
We ain't never won nuffink.

Indeed. I'm not sure why the West Upper is by far the most cramped concourse in the stadium, but it puts me off going there regularly.Brilliant. Less crowded in west upper concourse at half time.
It was a health and safety nightmare at the Forest cup game.
Do they? And people go on about needing to expand the ground to increase capacity
If it was easier to pass on tickets, the exchange numbers would be a lot less IMO.The demographic of our fan base is becoming more and more families and older fans. Which is fine but means mid-week games on a school night will see a lot of tickets being listed, especially in ESL.
Obviously the disgraceful train 'service' in this country doesn't help, but thats been done to death.
There are loads of new Albion lifers coming through now after the missed generation, the club absolutley must not price these fans out once they reach 18-21.
If there are 100s of tickets left on a match day then IMO they should consider heavily subsidising these for local colleges/the uni.
Completely agree. However in our nanny state that is never going back, it will only get worse, just wait for facial recognition on your ticket, because that's coming. If it was easier to pass on tickets, the exchange numbers would be a lot less IMO.
Without wishing to state the obvious, the higher up the stadium you go, the narrower the concourses get as the seats are further back, so there is less floor space to work with.Indeed. Spot on Jack.If it was easier to pass on tickets, the exchange numbers would be a lot less IMO.
I'm sure you're right but the difference in space is absolutely huge compared to all other areas of the stadium.Without wishing to state the obvious, the higher up the stadium you go, the narrower the concourses get as the seats are further back, so there is less floor space to work with.
I think the WSU probably has the highest capacity too.
It’s positively spacious compared to pretty much every away stadium I’ve been to, which is most of the 92!Indeed. I'm not sure why the West Upper is by far the most cramped concourse in the stadium, but it puts me off going there regularly.
We beat Villa at home last season. Pedro "missed" a penalty which he never does. (headed the rebound)It's Villa innit, we never beat Villa.
This. Never even bother getting a drink at HT, it's pretty much undoable if you don't want to miss any of the matchAn enormous game which could see us make a massive stride towards European competition for only our second time. The team need our backing.
Yet, the most important thing is the queue for a cup of tea or the ability to make a swift exit?
Queues were so big you couldnt wash your hands after a piss?Brilliant. Less crowded in west upper concourse at half time.

It doesn't need long queues to dissuade many of those in the WSU from washing their hands after a piss.Queues were so big you couldnt wash your hands after a piss?
Two seats currently free next to mine … I could buy them and have a lay down at HTI may buy an extra ticket so I can have more space.
And came pretty close to beating them at Villa Park this Christmas. I actually left a bit disappointed with the draw. Great game though. We beat Villa at home last season. Pedro "missed" a penalty which he never does. (headed the rebound)
Ultimately in years gone by, people would have landed it to a family member probably for free. Seems such a waste of empty seats, people can’t make every game, that’s natural, some people cannot make midweek game, also natural. There just isn’t the demand to re-list tickets for midweeks, unless it’s something like a European Game. Surely the amnesty on tickets like with the one free game, could be extended to midweek. The club ultimately lose money here, as probably 3,000+ seats will be empty, and not spending money on pie/pint/£16 terrace burger.Completely agree. Yep. I may have to work late tomorrow. It's going to depend on the outcome of a meeting in the States that finishes about 9pm tonight. If I do have to work I'll then be listing my ticket with 3000 others and I'll have missed the 'naughty boy' cut off (which is arbitrary and ridiculous anyway).Ultimately in years gone by, people would have landed it to a family member probably for free.
