Remind me. Left or right footed? Which wing does he usually play off?

Plays on the left. A real talent, a young Jack Gealish with pace. I think he could be in the squad next year rather than out on loan.
We’re surely signing player replacements for a few seasons time. We’re looking at our squad for 28/29 or beyond I think.

This guy and Osman could pick up the pieces when first Mitoma and then Adingra are sold in a few years time. With ACD and Yoon Doyoung on the other wing. Doyle replaces Georgino with Tzimas up front.

Just need some defenders for the long (and possibly short) term now!

  1. Skill of March, body of Dunk:
This one’s a proper player. A big lad but with genuine silky winger pace and trickery.

I'd be surprised if we're paying him five times his Sunderland salary, as those fans claim. Sunderland is a top level Championship club, they won't be paying him a few quid a week.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised, he is still on the contract he signed when he was 17 (signed in 2023, 3 years) which would very likely have been his first pro contract. They’ve been trying to get him to sign a new one.

Well, that makes sense, although surely a new Sunderland contract would significantly higher than his initial pro one?

He signed his current contract as a 16-17-year-old academy player.

Don't think he earns more than £2-3k per week. Would be surprised if they're not right about the 5x increase.
Hmmm the same side as Mitoma.
VERY similar style of player.

Was very keen on Watson in January and happy we landed him.

6'3" tall. He's a big lad for a tricky left winger.
He looks to be a very Brighton type signing, i.e. young with loads of raw talent and ambition.
It will be fun to follow his progress.
