Please don’t concede to a hoof up the field, which looks the most likely way they will score again

Anyone could win this.

We generally look like the slightly stronger team, but they are dangerous when they break.

Minteh being kept fairly quiet more generally.

Mitoma not at his best with things not quite coming off for him. But working hard and getting on the ball, has quality to do something special in 2nd half.

Not sure on subs. Assume Pedro comes on for O'Riley at some point, but think he's generally had a pretty decent game.
Always the chance of a Mitoma spark. However, feels like he’s less inclined to run at defenders at the moment?

Not a bad first half after an unsettled start.

Teams pretty much even.

We need to win more of the aerial duels and second balls and improve our passing accuracy on the long balls. O Riley needs to move forward into the box more and get on the end of Mitoma’s crosses.

Baleba and Danny having a good game.

Basics.
Baleba’s vision needs worked on

I'll take the draw if offered.

Appalling first 10-15 minutes before getting better. I just don't fancy our defense against their (or most teams to be fair)attack. Not a criticism of the individual players, more of us as a team as a whole.

That said Mitoma hasn't been quite on it, if he had we could be ahead, likewise that Henderson double save. The game is there to be won but it is for place too so I'll take the draw as defeat is more harmful to us than a win is beneficial IMO.

We came back into it and looked more in control for most of the half. Although it's hardly surprising that Palace were happy to sit back until the equalizer.

We need to do something to counter those long balls that are exposing us at the back.

They scare me as soon as the hoof the ball forwards. They look faster to it, and pass into space. And we know we're likely to concede - so it's nerve-wracking. We could do with two quick goals to settle us down for the last 20 minutes!
That's our game isn't it. A very high line that really does make us vulnerable to the long ball over the top. No idea what the answer is to this.

Murray is 100% Palace
Are you listening to him wanking himself off about Palace?
Bollocks. He's a co-presenter on the Official BHAFC podcast and still refers to Brighton as "we". He's just a rare case of having an affiliation to both teams.

I like him as a pundit, agree he's not suited to commentary though.

Yep, we pay his wages of course he calls us “we”, doesn’t mean he supports us and certainly doesn’t sound like it to me

Not just on this game either, I’ve thought the same on past Palace vs Brighton games that he’s commented on

Come on....believe!!
I’ll believe when we win at FT and not before. We are so bloody good at snatching defeat from jaws of victory in this fixture, or hanging by our fingernails for a scrappy draw even though we’ve Pele, Messi and Ronaldo all playing for us and they’ve Damien Hilton upfront on their side. Seen it again and again so I’ll remain pessimistic until the bitter end because that’s what following the Albion has done to me. Entirely their fault, not mine. I’m absolved of all responsibility.
