If this goes as well as when you started a thread about the “easy six” back in November…

I've already declared a no football chat at work tomorrow. Nothing to discuss until we win again.

...the last week or so didn't happen, right?

We're ninth with seven fixtures to go, many of which are "winnable" (I know, I know) and European qualification within our sight.

Agreed?
I like your unquenchable optimism - "When" indeed! Should be "If",shirley?

No sorry ------ 92 years of not allowing Palace a league "double" over us will not be put right by 8 hours of sleep.
It's not going to kill you, there is nothing you can do about it, Crystal Palace are just another football club. It doesn't matter.

Sleep well buddy. It's all good. 💤

I don't give a tiny shit that some people think there is something more than 3 points dropped yesterday.
Not even somethink, or sumpfink. Not even that.
There is any number of annoying established clubs with multiple trophies that need being taken down a peg or two.
The oil/nation-state-rich wanka clubs, Chelsea, Newcastle and Citeh.
And the traditional winners, who may have a tiny bit of their souls left, Arsenal, Liverpool and manUre.
And the plucky also rans like Wet Sham, Leeds, Spuds and Everton.
In comparison, Palace are less than the twinkle in a bar maid's eye.
Less than a quick feel on the bus home.
As are we.
The fact we tanked a 90-plus year 'non-double' situation yesterday is about as important as my last glass of red wine.
Get a grip, people.
Till we win something, we are just piss-abouters.
As are Palace.

No chance I will be allowed to forget being as I've got Villa fans to greet me at work 🙄🙄
None of my customers that I’ll see this week are into football…..son in law who is a gooner (👀) is on holiday….so I’ve got every chance, as long as I don’t listen to the radio…watch any sport on tv….read any relevant threads on here ……ok i’ve no chance either 🤦‍♂️

I can’t actually believe Selhurst Park has goal music. I thought the drum was risible enough. So yes, agreed, the last week has been just a fever dream.

The Season's over, we will be lucky to finish in the top 10.

Fully expecting Leicester to get a rare win on Saturday.

Plus the nightmare continues with an extra hours travelling time each way for the remaining home games due to the closed lanes on the A27

Other than that everything's good.

Heading out of the country for work tomorrow morning so should avoid most of the football chat this week.

Back to see us resume winning ways against Leicester and all will be good again.

We’ve had an incredible season. Records broken on a consistent basis. Worst defeat since the 1950s. Only double loss to Palace since 1933. And two 2-0 leads lost in the last five minutes.

And, yet, we’ve also genuinely had an incredible season in a good way.

It’s pretty hard to process in all honesty.
