Though why anyone learns a load of digits is mysterious.
If you're a pure mathematician you keep it as π. For all other purposes you're using a calculator or computer that has more than sufficient accuracy for π stored on it.

Simple. It's the average number of referee threads that appear after an Albion draw or defeat.

3.14

Makes it easier to remember.

Alternatively, the average number of pies I used to buy at an AMEX match

Isn't the world record something like ~25000 places after the decimal point? I kid you not.

I struggle to rember what I had for tea last night.

The world record for reciting Pi is over 70,000 places. Although someone claims to have remembered it to over 100,000 digits it’s never been tested.

Google Cloud has apparently calculated it to over 100 trillion places though. Given the world record for recital was about 1 second per digit it would take someone 3 million years to recite.

100 places for me. Learnt it at school 35 years ago and still remember it surprisingly - muscle memory I suppose!

Must run in the family as my niece recited 1002 decimal places on "pi day" in March last year at her school. I've seen the video, it's just remarkable what the brain can do.
Top prize was to throw a custard pie in the maths teachers face!

Do you recall the numbers by 100's or 1000's or just individually?
