I don't need any sympathy.. it's not simply this result either, its just this,....I think after 51 years of actively supporting the boys( not at Gillingham)... I am binning the ball ache of queues, trains and £7 pints...plus my 150 mile e/w journey..I have cancelled my ST renewal .... I was attending a weekend finale with Liv at home...not to be now.....I will scan the reports and chats on NSC etc, but that's me done..... adios amigos.
As is your right. It's a lot of time and money you've committed over the years. I wouldn't condemn anybody for reaching the same decision.

For my part, a lifetime of shift work has meant I've never been able to get a season ticket. Regardless of what happens on the pitch, it's something I've always promised myself should I make it to retirement intact.

Anyone at the game report on the atmosphere amongst the support? Definitely heard some negatively through the commentary that’s unusual at away games.
It was great in the first half.
Went downhill rapidly after the second goal

The away end got incredibly frustrated with the teams's inability to inject any intensity to the proceedings.

The first equaliser seemd to come out of nowhere and then within a few minutes of the restart we had gifted the lead back to them.

it was a pretty poor performance all round.
Worse in may ways than the Forest Debacle.

I (and those I went with) felt embarrassed to be part of it. Goodness knows what Tony and his family thought having to listen to some of the petulant, entitled, ill-informed drivel coming from some of our lot.

Yeah sure.

But in fairness, they did also have to put up with watching some embarrassingly poor passing from players they are paying a king's ransom to.

Are they? When did this come in? I’m pretty brassic at the moment myself - can stretch to a season ticket but I can’t afford to pay the players as well

Tony Bloom's family..

I pay for a ticket and enjoy the experience win, lose or draw.
But if I was also in for £400m to watch that type of performance, I wouldn't be so forgiving.

Different breed, the Bloom family.
God bless em.

Utter rot. The team deserved criticism and also the manager. I’m sure Tony agreed with a lot of it. Not one person deserved their money today. It was pitiful bollocks. We have seen too much of it considering the talent

I’m sure they’re pretty comfortable with things, given the record profit the club made to repay some of their patriarch’s interest free loans
I'm sure they are.

Still over £300m in the red though.
And that isn't getting paid off any time soon, with players playing like that,

The row was blocked by a few of them, not moving.

My young kid wanted to get out, to get to the front.

I said 'excuse me' loudly a couple of times (the audacity!)... and was accused of shouting.

Like I said, morons.

Mind reading I know, do you think the scoreline made them belligerent?
