[Albion] End of season lap of honour

I know everyone is saying that with the final home game being moved until Monday night it’s going to spoil the lap of honour?
Has it been thought to changing it to before that match?
I know the players have a set routine before a game, but surely that can be altered for once?
Let’s face it, Liverpool will already have been crowned champions by then, so there won’t be much riding on the game anyway.

Not sure I can see that happening.

Moving it to follow the penultimate home game - Newcastle, with a Sunday 2pm kick-off - feels like a more pragmatic approach.

Never been called a Lap Of Honour though has it? It's always been called a Lap Of Appreciation. Which is fair enough

If some of the players put as much enthusiasm into completing the lap as they appear to do during a match then it will take them hours to get round. No need to worry about last trains, the morning service will have started by the end.

Agreed.

It’s like when you go to the theatre and those overpaid actors come out and expect you to thank them for doing their job as they take a bow.

I always walk out on principle and occasionally flick a couple of V’s if I am close enough the the stage.

That’s when our season ended.
