Horrible challenge by the Ipswich bloke, McKenna does rather lead a band of thugs

So, today is one of the very few occasions where I want a Chelsea win.

I'm not accepting any of this "our season is over, so it doesn't matter" talk, as it simply isn't.

The odds are stacked against us given our injury list/poor form combo, yes, but Fulham failing to win today means we're still very much in the hunt if we can find a way to get a win or two on the board.
Can't be having that...Hope Chelsea suffer every match they play

The three that came up have been a total embarrassment this season. May be time to reduce the PL to 18 teams. Fewer fixtures, less fodder.
And fewer games with less TV money, will never happen

If the Cardiff signing hadn’t died in a plane crash, there wouldn’t have been imo
We reached 36 points, same number Wolves and West Ham have now, which would've been enough to survive every other season we have been in the PL. The most a team has gone down with in the last 10 years is 37; Newcastle 10 years ago.

The current bottom three are very unlikely to make it to 25, Luton were third bottom with 26 last season. That's the gap these days.

Well I guess it’s nice we can relax and enjoy this Fulham performance now. Thanks Fab 😁

Not sure how much difference that would make as you’d still have promotion and relegation. Only way would be to make the PL a closed division as the cannon fodder would slowly improve but the same 20 teams would be even duller than the current trend of the promoted teams all being in the relegation mix most seasons.

But we wouldn’t have the angst of looking bang average against teams everyone else stuffs
