According to Richard Osman, apparently so. James makes loads of mistakes in the books - I tried tracking the route Grace ran once. I believe he was running down New England Street, and took a right onto Palmeira Square…
Probably mentioned before but us locals will obviously notice these things.

You do not seriously think this is exclusive to Grace? Many things filmed in Liverpool, Manchester, London etc show one location overlapping with another, no one notices unless they know the area and more importantly no one cares. In the first Inbetweeners movie, the lads walked around a corner and ended up in a different country.

The last couple of Carry on movies on ITV3 this afternoon have just shown brilliant shots of Brighton coming into town and the Palace pier (Carry on at your convenience) and Marine Parade hotels and the West Pier (Carry on girls).

No spoilers

Always a little sad seeing the old Kings Head at Albourne near the end of convenience which is now an office.

That's got to be a record for getting from the ferry port at Newhaven to the shops at the bottom of Gibbon Road, especially as they'd have had to walk on water!

Not to mention I didn't know Red Funnel operate from Newhaven.

Not really Grace related, but I've told that Richard Osman's first book is set in the Burgess Hill retirement village that his Mum lives in, and that Steven Spielberg had bought the rights to film it.

Have I been subjected to pub :shit:by associates of mine again ???

Can’t comment on the first part as not read them, second part is 100% true and the film is being made with Pierce Brosnan and Ben Kingsley.
