I didn't realise that. However, the filming doesn't shows the beauty of the location very well.
I didn't like the writing either but each to their own.
You do not seriously think this is exclusive to Grace? Many things filmed in Liverpool, Manchester, London etc show one location overlapping with another, no one notices unless they know the area and more importantly no one cares. In the first Inbetweeners movie, the lads walked around a corner and ended up in a different country.

I heard that and immediately said to my wife ... it's the Lanes ... not the bloody (or maybe another word) South LanesNo-one's mentioned the radio message that the suspect was seen heading for the South Lanes.I bet that wasn't in the book.

He was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in series 4 ... but I believe the actor playing the part decided he didn't wan't to continue ... for now anyway. I guess he could always come back in the next series having 'recovered'.

The last couple of Carry on movies on ITV3 this afternoon have just shown brilliant shots of Brighton coming into town and the Palace pier (Carry on at your convenience) and Marine Parade hotels and the West Pier (Carry on girls).

Always a little sad seeing the old Kings Head at Albourne near the end of convenience which is now an office.The last couple of Carry on movies on ITV3 this afternoon have just shown brilliant shots of Brighton coming into town and the Palace pier (Carry on at your convenience) and Marine Parade hotels and the West Pier (Carry on girls).

That's got to be a record for getting from the ferry port at Newhaven to the shops at the bottom of Gibbon Road, especially as they'd have had to walk on water!

Not really Grace related, but I've told that Richard Osman's first book is set in the Burgess Hill retirement village that his Mum lives in, and that Steven Spielberg had bought the rights to film it.
