I've started the third season of the UK traitors. I'm at the point where they just knocked off the one-eyed girl and are making the one young lad (Freddie?) look awfully guilty (note, I've only see the start of that episode - I always end up watching the start of the next episode because screw your cliffhangers).

First, it was BS that they didn't let all three of the players in the cages back in the game. That freakishly tall Yorkshire lad was hunched over in that cage for nothing?!?

Second, why the F is everybody crying? What ever happened to stiff upper lips? Kids these days...SMH.

Just finished season 3 of UK Traitors. Quite the contrast to the finale of the US season 3.

Leanne needed a slap at the end there.

Its fascinating. I dont like anybody in it - not one. They are all media trained, minor celebs, who know each other from previous "reality shows". A totally different bunch of people from the complete unknowns and strangers on the UK versions. I hope the UK doesnt go down this route.
The US version is fascinating though. A bunch of grotesques, swanning around in carefully crafted outfits, the three remaining traitors totally at war with each other, obnoxious bloke (but faithful) exited in the last episode with his middle finger extended to the group as he went - none of your "I love each and every one of you and Ive had a blast " from him. :) Its all a bit camper, and a bit too "American" , but Im hooked now . What will the machiavellian Rob's next move be? Will the others get him out? Will he murder that Derrick bloke who is on his tail? Will the other two traitors claw each others eyes out? Can Caroline find a new grotesque gurning expression for the next episode. ?
In one very good post you have described ALL the reasons I hated the American Traitors and couldn’t stomach more than an episode and a half.

Reminded me of the Lisa Riley v Harry Hill, You’ve Been Framed battle. Same show, vastly different outcomes! 🤣

Looks like filming on Celebrity Traitors has started and quite an interesting list of contestants if the leaks are to be believed.
I wish they’d just do two civilian series a year instead.

I wouldn’t have a problem with them putting one or two well-known people in amongst them, but Duncan from Blue can f*** off!

That’d be amazing. But TV companies seem to love an calendar of just one per annum eg Apprentice, Love Island, Strictly.

As celebrity line ups go, it's actually surprisingly good.

Joe Wilkinson is another brighton resident. I suspected he'd be one due to his Paul Gorton connection*

*Paul G was on the last series of traitors. He appeared on Chatabix (JW's podcast) before Traitors to talk about being a contestant on Deal or No Deal. JW and his co-host told him about Traitors and how he should apply for it, he applied, and the rest is history.

Johnathan Ross ruins it for me. Can't stand the bloke, or understand why they insist on putting him on telly?

Looking forward to this. Really good line up of people who I actually class as celebrities (generally)
Huge improvement on the Z list celebrities that pollute the US series. They play to win the money for themselves whereas I would like to think that our celeb version will see the contestants playing to win money for charity.

I wasn't much of a fan until I actually met him, I sat next to him at dinner, and he was a thoroughly nice bloke with a self-deprecating sense of humour. What was more impressive is that a few months later, I met him again and he remembered me (without any prompting), when you consider the number of people that he meets, that showed that he took some interest in the people he was introduced to.

I have to say that, as others have mentioned, this is a really impressive line-up; I'd heard of all but three of them

So Jonathan Ross is a sort of anti-Boris then.

That's good to hear actually - I'll give him another chance and try to stop being so judgemental.

Similar for Alan Carr - my wife used to work at Hotel du Vin in Brighton and they had loads of celebs in, but she said he was by far the kindest and friendliest with all the staff.
