Thanks for that, very constructive lol
Can't remember you being a major contributor on boxing threads, but apologies if I have missed something.

There is a reason boxing has so many divisions. Fighting bigger fighters can be dangerous as can over dehydrating to make weight.

Eubank senior is right on this one, we don't need this type of circus.

As much as Eubank Jnr can be a bit of a dick at times, he’s clean, which can’t be said for his opponent.

That said it truly is the PT Barnum fight, in that you can fool some of the people some of the time, in boxing terms neither are anywhere near the top level, yet they claim to have sold 70,000 tickets and Ben Shallom, Eubank’s promoter is predicting it will be the biggest PPV buys in UK television history. 😂
I'm amazed ANYONE still actually pays for PPV these days.

Junior to win, of course. He will knock the drugs cheat out by end of round 6.

After being a real disappointment for a few years, Junior looked like his old self in his last fight. Would love to see Junior's fast hands and heavy punches end Benn's career for good.

No sport needs the partication of a druggie. End of.

I think Eubank missing weight proves his father's point.

Jr clearly tried to make weight by missing it by such a fine margin and I think this will have a psychological impact because of the weigh in tomorrow morning.

Nigel Benn certainly comes across as someone who’s been bashed around the head many times. Is he okay? Genuine question.

Benn. Purely because I’m not a fan of Eubank.

Beyond that, I’ve lost all interest in modern boxing.

I don’t know any boxer with the exception of McGuigan who doesn’t seem to exhibit some form of detrimental effect from their fighting.

How can it not have an effect?

True. He seems to shuffle a bit and slurs his speech a little.

Might small river it depending on result of Potter II and how much ale has been taken as a consequence.

Would normally be very much for a Brighton lad and very much against a drug cheat but, as others have said, this is a farce of a fight and I worry I’ll be rubber necking.

In fact, it reminds me of that time on The Overlap when Hearn suggested Wayne Rooney should fight Jake Paul at Old Trafford.
