I don't think anyone was expecting us to go in ahead with the starting line up. So good.
Mitoma on for Solly and hopefully able to go full gas for 45.
While I'd like to see velts I expect he's more of a shut down and shithouse sub after 80 minutes.
Minteh should help shore up that side though.

Well I don't care what the moaners say, I'm enjoying it. Scored a goal, conceded none and the sun is shining. But sure, Fab out along with half of the squad who are, let's face it, only playing because of the injuries.

Julio Enciso giving Toon a penalty on the stroke of half time.
Buenonotte starting for Leicester - no surprise they’re losing (probably scored their last goals of the season)

Delighted with going in 1 - 0 up, reasonably pleased with our play and need an early second half goal to allow a little breathing space.
Much better from us than the doom and gloom merchants were so sure of.

I'm bemused - all week it's been "we are too easy to score against", "we're too open at the back" etc.... so we've sat deeper, shored up at the back (you can only play against what's in front of you) haven't conceded and we're one nil up at half time. But apparently half the side should be subbed off, certain players shouldn't play for us again and we're gash......

........seriously what do people actually
Have to agree. Thought we've been OK first half for a team with so many out injured and out of form.

Weiffer has played really well today, as has Dunk. Adingra very poor. Ayari being Ayari, doing everything quietly except for the goal, glad for him. MoR poor

It's nice to be leading at half time.

Positives so far:

We're winning.
Wieffer's not looking a liability. He's done ok. Hopefully he keeps it up and can build on it, it's been a tough first season for him.
Dunk is looking more Dunkesque than he has for a lot of the season. Again, I hope that lasts.
Great to see Solly get a start. And while we're n Solly lets appreciate the fact that we have three local lads in the starting 11 of a brighton team in the top half of the premier league.

Negatives:

Adingra. Such a fall of in performance from last year. Very disappointing.
We're still very easy to get in behind. West ham are almost definitely going to score in the second half so we'll need at least one more goal.
Our attack odd moments excepted still doesn't look particularly sooth or coherent so that other goal might not come if West ham buck their ideas up.

I don’t think O’Riley is playing too badly tbh. And Adingra, while I get the criticism of his all round play, actually poses more of a goal threat.

To be in control of a game against a team one off the relegation spots? The second half will be entirely about if West Ham take chances. Should be more in control of our fate against limited teams
Good job you don't support Notts Forest - you'd hate watching them competing for a Champions League place this season
