How long after the match do they normally release the video of the players going back to the changing room. Baleba is normally bouncing off the walls after a win so f*** knows what he'll be doing after that last 5 mins :lolol:

Then Weiffer and Hinshelwood refuse to deal with the cross.
An awful, awful, goal to concede.
The cross was world class. Almost impossible to defend without conceding an OG. Brilliant from Bowen.

Kudus and Bowen are their heart and soul. They would be terrible without them.

Without the random running of Pedro and Rutter, we had a more solid shape.

Jack looked much better in midfield and legging it is how you get subbed off.

A game with everything save a red card.

Noticed Georginio jumping around & dancing with everyone in the final whistle celebrations and out on the pitch. Injury cant be that bad.
He’s also just a complete nutter, though.

Agreed. Can't say the same for Paqueta, looks like he's given up.

Just watched the extended highlights and was reminded of Minteh's slip in the first half.

I wonder whether Opta do a slips in the opponents box stat?
The boy is world class on that metric isn't he?

What the hell was Saturday?

Was it tactics? Hit from outside the box combined with practice?

Was it a couple of flukes?

I’m trying to get my head around it - are we good or were we just lucky?

At 14 seconds Fabbi actually breaks into a little Cockney-style jig that a Pearly King would be proud of - Damon Albarn did one similar in the video for Parklife. A bit on the nose vs that lot but the moment got to him.

He almost went full Soccer AM Chimney Sweep, we larve it.

Pervis has to deal with the first ball. In years gone by we have laughed at “why did you let it bounce” - same applies.
Is it Pervis' fault for their first goal? Wasn't he marking the wide man and Ayari let his runner (Bowen) go into the box unmarked? Also wasn't it Ayari who lost his man (Soucek) for their second goal? Probably harsh on both points I grant you as he is still young and learning, but people saying it's Pervis' fault I think are mistaken.

First goal was deffo Ayari who let Bowen go. I was talking about the second goal. If Pervis deals with the simple ball then no danger. Ayari would not have stopped the header because soucek would beat most players in the league to that, let alone a smaller midfielder.

There should be no individual blame - it was pretty much everyone's fault. Bowen shouldn't have had so much space, we shouldn't have let the ball roll across the box, Weiffer was like a statue and the guy who scored should never have been able to nip in ahead of him, and Bart shouldn't have let it though his legs.

For the second, I think it was Perv that mis-judged the initial high ball that proceeded it? ???

I was very happy with the commitment and grit we showed yesterday. A massive improvement on the last few games imo. You can’t ask for more than that with the injuries we have and even if we’d lost I’d not have been anywhere near as pissed off as I have been recently.
Agree completely. We deserved to win, all in all.
