Because I have the memory of a goldfish, when I was reviewing infractions recently, I saw the one I gave you and it confused the hell out of me.

Ooh, is this one in the moderating decisions thread?

I had an infraction for a while for 'being unduly irritating'. Which was a fair then and a label I have tried to live up to since. 😂

I'd like to be banned. Just briefly. I really enjoyed the infraction. But just a little ban. To see what it's like.
I’ve not been banned but I’ve often heard those who have describe it as a vivid, almost transformative experience, bringing a sense of detachment from the body, seeing bright lights and a review of one’s life.

I have heard that it creates an almost timeless dimension to life where one can actually get shit done.

Some sort of Nirvana.

That wasn't a paracetamol they took for their headache then...

Are you sure they haven’t mixed up being banned with smoking Peyote?

Swansman / Han Solo was given a one-month timeout to give me some time to try and figure out what the hell to do about arguably the most divisive member we've ever had on here - and there have been a few. But he has since contacted me requesting to be removed completely from the forum, which I am in the process of doing.
Very noble.

He decided to fall on his sword before Potter was sacked.

Mainly because very, very few people are banned.

No bans = nothing to update.

But it's fair comment. I put that there to give a level of transparency that I felt was missing from most other forums, and I'll ensure it is updated on the rare occasions that it should be.

Oh great :( So we have to put up with a hundred unimaginative people droning on that they 'can't see what Hurzeler is trying to do' whilst losing one of the few insightful guys who actually understands football tactics and strategy. The dumbing down of NSC continues apace....

Anything that makes NSC a friendlier place, is a positive to me. I had this individual on ignore….

I’ll miss his insight, but I haven’t seen the thread/posts that have led to his ban/removal (probably on one of the 3000 threads I have on ignore)

It wasn't his football knowledge that was the problem - you can know your football AND be an arse at the same time, as he willingly proved time and time again!

As have many on here with little or no football knowledge. He was goaded by a self centred individual who always has one finger on the report button. He's had some hard times recently and admitted being on here was helping him through it. I'll miss his contributions.

Slightly worried that he might be in a bad place after the recent death of his father. I hope he rejoins.
It would be good to know when his ban is up so we can encourage him back.

For me he has great insight about football but some dodgy ideas in other areas. You can't have one without the other but I would say he is a net positive.

Come back Swanny. I hope you are okay.
