I think world leaders are aware that they need to give him a get out to save his ego. Any deal with the US, no matter how beneficial it is to the respective country, has to be done in such a way as to be able to be presented as a genius 4D-chess win to his cult.
Anyone with half a brain cell...
I've tried working this out as well. Does he send the keeper the wrong way, or is he waiting for the keeper to move? Eze failed at doing the latter last week with an amusing result.
I liked MaCallister's pens the most. Hard, accurate and generally into the roof of the net, giving the keeper next to no chance even if he goes the right way. Successful as they were, Hemed and JP's method of committing the keeper before rolling the ball in makes me nervous. I'm quite glad...
The Leicester fans were getting quite Leedsy about Buonanotte until RVN took over:

He certainly played in the 2021 Olympics and our first fixture of the 21-22 season (2-1 win at Burnley). I suppose the main difference was that he'd been fit for most, if not all, of the previous season.
Could have all been speculation, but I got the impression after he spent much of the 23-24 season injured that the club weren't very happy that he prioritised the Olympic tournament over doing any sort of preseason training with the club.
The big clubs certainly see the higher potential for monetisation of tourists, yes. But I'm fairly sure that clubs like BHA recognise the long-term benefits of having the home end 90% full with season ticket holders and legacy fans.
Serious question: Has anyone actually been asked for ID at a...
He's still only 20 contracted until June 2029, so time is on our side and we can afford to spend more than a 4-5 weeks of pre-season training sessions getting his form back. Reckon a season loan at at Championship club would be an option.
I’d have a problem with that aspect if premier league players were paid out of the public purse. Fact is that most of this money comes from abroad with them being paid by a combo of foreign billionaires and TV viewers, and nearly half their salary goes to the taxman, not to mention the 15%...
Quite a few had given up on Europe back in November, which was definitely way too early to write the season off - as was shown to be the case when we picked up a bit of form after Christmas and found ourselves in 6th with 9 to play.
However, optimism in late autumn was realistic with the...
In, on the basis that he was doing fairly well points-wise well up until the Forest game and we were 3 points from the CL positions.
Judge the manager over a period when we haven’t been absolutely f***ed by injuries (and now a suspension to Pedro).
I genuinely can’t remember anything too bad. Lamptey is an obvious one, but he wasn’t really that well established when he had his first injury spell, and we had Veltman and White to cover the right side. It felt like all of our most important players were always available.
Glenn Murray is...
Not sure I agree with the last bit. It’s only really been the last 2 years where we’ve suffered from lots of injuries to key players.
It felt like a fairly average number in all seasons before that. In fact for our first 2 seasons I thought we were quite lucky to only lose Izquierdo for a...
