Leading on from that and taking gazwag's post as an example if anyone logs on with 2 devices and gets given 2 places in the queue eg 150 and 500 they will obviously use the 150 place to enter the site. However, what then happens to the 500 place? i would assume that it remains active till that point is reached and then as you are given 10 minutes from that point to enter it is only after that period that the queue moves on. So my point is if only a few are registering with more than one device the overall effect will be negligible however if that practice becomes or has become commonplace then there will be a sort of snowball effect on the length of the queue.
Although to be fair reading @Titanic post it would seem there was some sort of glitch in the system this morning creating a lot more places in the queue.

Its shouldnt be random though, if you look at titanics comment earlier the screenshot states tickets are available on a first come, first served basis so the queue should reflect that. Might message supporter services to query because it would be good to know how it works in practice!

You are right about multiple devices possibly adding artificial length to the queue though, hadn't considered that.

Train tickets are a right mare today, it may just be Avanti's website messing around or there are just very few left, I ve tried to buy but it keeps failing. Unless you have a rail card the coach will be cheaper as there are no advance tickets to be found. Best I can find is £120 for an adult + child with F&F card

I've been looking at what tickets are available and am struggling to understand something...
In block UV1, the lower numbers start on the left side of the seating plan as you look at it, suggesting that the higher numbers in that block will be right down in the corner.
However, photos uploaded to https://aviewfrommyseat.co.uk/venue/goodison+park/UV1/ look like its the lower numbers which are in the corner.
Am I being incredibly stupid and missing something?
