It's gonna be HOT for these guys and they're gonna be jet lagged to shit. Time difference hits you hard West to East. Don't actually expect us to beat Kashima. Maybe they'll have settled in for Tokyo Verdy. Who aren't the greatest J-League team anyway. I'd put J-League around League 1 level at the top end. If you go to watch Omiya Ardija like me regularly it's more like the arse end of league 2. Like the dark years of Albion supporterness. Natsukashiii.
I went to an ardija game at the tail end of last season. They lost 2-0 and my friend was incredibly apologetic about the poor quality. I told him not to worry, it reminded me of the Albion from 95-99 and was bringing back strong nostalgic feelings.

They're romping through j3 I hear so all well that ends well.

Surprised that Gilmour's not been given a post Euro's break when Dunk, who played considerably fewer minutes, is.
Maybe.

But Gilmour's Euros ended on 23rd June, and he had a holiday after that, whilst Dunk was still on (non-playing) Euros duty on 14th July.

YouTube coverage of Day 2 can now be seen. Looks very hot and humid out there.
Interesting insight into FH’s ‘values’ for the team…. Positivity and being the best team mate.
Interesting that they were going to be working on set pieces, corners and throw ins. Plenty of coverage of Billy Gilmour.
Adam Webster doing some of the camera work.
Worth a look.

Yes, but we’re not sure where yet.
Thanks, I just went through all of this thread and found Amazon Prime for sale in Japan, so not sure if it is like Netflix and regional, but it looks like there are streams out there for the dodgy ones among us.

But isn't it just a more cultural thing not to show tattoos in general as tattoos tend to just be associated with the Yakuza.

I remember a few years ago the All Blacks covered their tattoos at the Rugby World Cup in Japan as a sign of respect for local culture.
If I had tattoos I’d not be able to use the sauna at my hotel.

Pretty poor that nothing has been arranged and communicated to the fans less than 3 days before the first game

Very much so
Can’t help but feel he’s probably preaching to the converted there as well. I suppose he’s gotta lay out his principles still though.
