Ladies Day in the Liverpool sunshine, should be a scorcher.
I think the term Ladies is being optimistic!

I went up for the first day of the meeting a few years ago and it was a great day out. However, I feared for my life on the local train as there was so much polyester being worn, one stray spark and we would have all gone up flames. Was also funny seeing the local men of a certain age who were wearing their best suit but it had been a long time since there was any chance of the buttons meeting in the middle.

My national punts:

Minella Cocooner

Hewick

Perceval Legallois

Grangeclare West

I split my steaks between Betfair & Betfair SP as the bookmaker shyster lines are a disgrace. Oh and because I have no online bookmaking accounts they will take more than a few pennies.

Welcome to my world.

I am obviously a "problem gambler" to the likes of Bet365.

My 'career' winnings are a little over £40k net.

Matchbook Zero may be worth having a look at.

Good stuff.

A fair few of my friends and family are problem gamblers too !!! Well, in the opinion of the bookies anyway. Gone through hundreds of accounts in various guises. The restrictions are a proper joke now & I’ve not bothered with new accounts for a few years.

Have to get the cash on in the shops these days but that’s getting harder. Any three figure bet is looked as some kind of criminal act by some staff.

Pre-Covid I was commuting to London most days to get my bets on in the morning, was like a military operation to go to the right shops at the right times. Happy days. I was making about 20% ROI then & with eye watering steaks the £ profits were very good. Obviously didn’t win all the time & the losing runs were tough but got used to them eventually.

Now my betting is just for pocket money and to keep the brain ticking over.
