I understand why some people leave early but I would have hated to have missed that finish today. That's the chance you take.
For many Amex seasons it was fine, I used to depart WSU on about 90’, I think I missed one Albion goal. Then RDZ arrived.

I’m in that picture so I’m in the clear![]()
Wrong thread for it really, this one is for laughing at those who missed the exact thing most of us go to football for in the first place but same as much of the season really - the ongoing inability to be able to have a more or less settled starting XI must have done his head in this season. Dunk had a better game than of late and Baleba was immense, midfield was mostly alright and subs worked. As a student of the game, what was your assessment of FH’s work today? I thought he did well, in the context of a stack of defensive injuries.
I can understand why people leave early from evening games, particularly midweek ones, but I can't understand the need to leave before 5.00 on a Saturday. Is that a desperate need to get home to watch Michael McIntyre?I understand why some people leave early but I would have hated to have missed that finish today.

Best I've ever done was 3 goals so that is impressive.Bloke a few seats away from me missed the first WH goal when he came back late from HT. Went to the loo for the second WH goal and then left a couple of minutes from end, before we scored our last two. That was some achievement
It’a vicious circle. Leave on 85’ and it’s a 5 minute wait at park n ride. Leave on final whistle and it can be an hour just standing there …. I did it many times. Over the years it crept earlier and earlier, as people reassessed when to leave.
To be fair, there may be lots of valid reasons.
Doesn't stop it being absolutely hilarious on days like today, though![]()

Not in the North then..? The pies are getting un-eatable.. incendiary hot, and break up upon slightest grip/contact.. so annoying when the decent looking food at The Terrace is also too much of mission to entertain ( No where to sit/put down pint etc) ..Stayed to the end, walked down to the station , straight onto the train and was back home by 5:50 add in the best pie I’ve had at the Amex in ages and it made for a bloody good day
That is wrong … wrong … wrongWhy would you leave just to stand outside the terrece I don’t get that one
I suspect they were getting in early to search for the location of the toilet seeing as certain posters find it so bafflingWhy would you leave just to stand outside the terrece I don’t get that one
