As a student of the game, what was your assessment of FH’s work today? I thought he did well, in the context of a stack of defensive injuries.
Wrong thread for it really, this one is for laughing at those who missed the exact thing most of us go to football for in the first place but same as much of the season really - the ongoing inability to be able to have a more or less settled starting XI must have done his head in this season. Dunk had a better game than of late and Baleba was immense, midfield was mostly alright and subs worked.

Well the hardcore NS where I stand, had a queue at the steps to get out after WH's second, but people don't need to 'own up' to leaving early. It's still bloody funny whether they own up or not :lolol:

And, I have to admit, my first FFS when Baleba hit it may have had a different motivation to my second FFS as it hit the back of the net

I understand why some people leave early but I would have hated to have missed that finish today.
I can understand why people leave early from evening games, particularly midweek ones, but I can't understand the need to leave before 5.00 on a Saturday. Is that a desperate need to get home to watch Michael McIntyre?

It’a vicious circle. Leave on 85’ and it’s a 5 minute wait at park n ride. Leave on final whistle and it can be an hour just standing there …. I did it many times. Over the years it crept earlier and earlier, as people reassessed when to leave.

Bloke a few seats away from me missed the first WH goal when he came back late from HT. Went to the loo for the second WH goal and then left a couple of minutes from end, before we scored our last two. That was some achievement
Best I've ever done was 3 goals so that is impressive.

To be fair, there may be lots of valid reasons.

Doesn't stop it being absolutely hilarious on days like today, though :lolol::lolol: :lolol:

We left at 86 mins. Didn't want long wait for bus and then queueing on the A27. Looking forward to Match of the Day.

Stayed to the end, walked down to the station , straight onto the train and was back home by 5:50 add in the best pie I’ve had at the Amex in ages and it made for a bloody good day
Not in the North then..? The pies are getting un-eatable.. incendiary hot, and break up upon slightest grip/contact.. so annoying when the decent looking food at The Terrace is also too much of mission to entertain ( No where to sit/put down pint etc) ..

We stayed, but the West Ham fan just along from us in ESL outed himself when they went 2-1 up, so had to make an early exit. Although I'm not sure he'd been as delighted with the comeback as we were!

Absolute scenes in the FS - and a great view of the Baleba double backflip!

Why would you leave just to stand outside the terrece I don’t get that one
I suspect they were getting in early to search for the location of the toilet seeing as certain posters find it so baffling 😁.
But a) imagine not being gutted at missing out on that glorious moment and b) who on earth is out with a microphone posing questions anyway?
