I was really pleased Newcastle won and was all for a bit of frenzy but the 24/7 lovefest the whole week on TalkSport was waaaaay too much.
Ally McCoist and his co-host (i forget who it was now) were really trying to force it Monday morning, going on about Newcastle fans will be having hangovers...
To anyone interested, Colin Hart's episode on Tris Dixon's 'Boxing Life Stories' is brilliant.
Tris and Colin talk about his life from childhood to present, telling some amazing stories along the way.
I listen to his pod on Apple but heres another link to it...
Very sad news after George Foreman yesterday.
Used to especially love him, Alan Hubbard and Jeff Powell sharing their crazy old time stories on BoxNation back in the 00's.
Colin, Jeff, Alan along with Buncey, Steve Lilis and Barry Jones on BoxNation was boxing gold.
RIP.
Edit: Alan Hubbard
His technical ability looks incredible. He may lack a bit of pace when driving forward but for the most part, he still manages to keep hold of the ball complete the play.
Been some poor decisions this weekend (newcastle's goal being one), officials seem to have gotten worse by relying on technology......... or maybe I've just forgotten how bad they were pre tech.
It has made me more pro VAR though.
