Great day, as a young lad I got very drunk....was with some older fans and I just HAD to keep up.

Yep, right behind Case’s free kick. Nice weather , nice pub, great result, a wonderful Seagulls day out. The first time I got emotional over an Albion result - we had made it to a cup final in my lifetime. (The second was when we left the Goldstone).
The only downer was that the set of colour slides I took on the day got lost over the years.

Yes, sadly not behind the goal, but in the very back row of the stand alongside the penalty area - so had a great view of this goal.

Oh, and I wasn't there. I was playing football in some micky mouse cup or league (together with a few other NSCers), that was us just coming into our 'peak'.

I got lucky. I wasn’t going as my dad couldn’t get a ticket for either of us. But the night before his friend’s daughter got chicken pox and they offered her ticket to me. My dad was already working so off I went with them. Amazing day.
