Nope, I’m not supporting Chelsea to win anything under any circumstances. When it was Spurs or Man Utd I could just about bring myself to hope they didn’t lose every time.

But Chelsea? f*** that. If we didn’t qualify for Europe because Chelsea had been humiliated against Djurgardin then I would not care one tiny iota. f*** them.

If it makes you feel better, you'd have to hope they won the least important trophy they have probably ever entered whilst simultaneously f**king up the league and finishing well outside the top 5, meaning a catastrophic loss of form - so it wouldn't be all bad.

My Leeds mate was definitely a bit quieter yesterday than when they went up last time, when he was talking about European qualification the next season.
To be fair, in their first PL season they did really well, finishing 9th on 59 points and only just missing out on Europe (whereas Albion were 16th on 41 points...). It was in the subsequent seasons they limped to 38 and then relegation on 31...

Seeing as Leeds are in the Prem next season i assumed they got an automatic spot because of what they achieved 100 years ago?
Well, it might work in our favour. Given that Leeds are the eternal Champions of Europe, if they finish in sixth then that creates and extra Europa League place as they will go into the Champions League as the perpetual winner.

My Yorkshire friend reckons they'll come down faster than they went up.
