I do think it’s a confidence thing, he seems to be taking the easier pass option sometimes rather than trying to take players on which used to be a strength of his. In training his confidence needs to be worked on, there is still a very talented player in there. He has the ability.

There's definitely a decent player in there, and totally agree his confidence needs massively building up. Great opportunity in the first half, but he HAS to be working the keeper with that, if not scoring. Sadly not a patch on Minteh for defensive strength, and much less of a threat going forward.

I didn't think he was bad last night. Just a little quiet

About taking players on, I think a lot is the manager's instruction. He wants us to recycle it out and around waiting for a better chance

on a couple of occasions last night, Adingra gave away the ball or fell over his own shadow and the north stand started singing the Adingra song as if he'd just scored a worldie - wtf :ROFLMAO:

Adringa needs that left hand flank. Shame he’s competing with Mitoma who appears undroppable (even after he plays poorly! From the starting 11.

Early in the season I was thinking, is Minteh really an upgrade on the young player of the tournament in the AFCON? It seemed we'd paid a lot of money for very little, if any, improvement. Now Minteh is first choice, but how much that's due to Minteh's development and how much it's down to Adingra losing form through loss of confidence and motivation after being dropped I'm not sure.

Adingra is a good player. One of the most efficient players in the team when it comes to actually converting chances.

Unfortunately for him, he's overall just not good enough for a PL team on the upper half. He'd play a lot more in many of the teams below us but he's not quite good enough to start for us and I don't see it happening either. Neither do I see him wanting to spend another season primarly sitting on the bench. He'll have a part to play for the rest of this season but I think he'll move on for £15m or so in the summer.

Adingra looked great for 10 minutes when he came on against Forest. We got an early ball out to him before they could send an extra defender over to double up on him. He made a couple of good runs with the ball which progressed into the area.
We then slowed down any ball out to him and he was largely ineffective after that due to being closed down and either lost the ball or had to play it back inside.

Like a lot of players, he looks poor when we play slow. If we set up to hit teams on the counter, we’d likely see a much different Adingra.
