Didn’t have a ST. Was 15 at the time but did a few trips up on the old B&H double deckers with a friend.

Not sure what was worse, the football or the long wait before the game. IIRC the buses were scheduled to give people a bit of drinking time before the game. Only if you were 15, there wasn’t much else to do.

Fond memories though. OGH always used to score when I went.
The Cricketers was where I met a whole load of people, many who are still NSCers to this day for the first time.

In no particular order @Harry Wilson's tackle, @Arthur, @Wozza, @Jim in the West, @ManxSeagull, @Dick Knights Mumm and many more I'll remember as soon as I submit this post.

I had season ticket at Gillingham and Goldstone. Family commitments mean just an occasional visitor to Withdean and Amex.
That's what we call an Un-Glory Hunter

Goldstone, Priestfield and Withdean.

I think the first few games at Gillingham were POTG, then when Archer was completely removed bought the season ticket.

Was also a regular in the Crickerters.

I missed four games at Gillingham but no season ticket. I did once sit next to Uri Gellar and always held my breath when the opposition had a free kick.
Best memory was the day Pete Smith turned up in the car park with his dreads in a plastic bag.
The football was no better than shite, but that just reflected the town.
The drive I could almost do with my eyes closed.
So good to play at Withdean - I sort of miss it.

My recollection is that the Knight consortium didn't finally get full control until a few weeks after the start of the 1997-8 season, at which point they offered season tickets for the remainder of the season at some stupidly low price, like about £80 or something. Living in Kent, it was easy for me to get to so I got one then. In fact other priorities have meant that I've never had one since that first year at Gillingham - just gone match by match when I could.

This is taken from the programme against Cardiff City on November 22 1997:-

Had a ST for all 4. Think I’ve had a ST every year from about the mid 80’s.
Also remember getting the special 4 match ticket for our first ever season in the top flight which from memory included the matches against Liverpool, Man Utd, Spurs & Forest.

I went to pretty much all the games at pissfilled, but I didn't have a season ticket.

I could wait till 2.00 before deciding whether to go to a match, and still get a pre match pint in.

An advantage of living where I do.

Shame the football was worse that the worst worseness ever to flop out in front of my face.
Yeah, we were the same. As a family we'd pretty much decide on the morning of the match if we were going or not. Even then we'd always go via Orpington (where the in-laws lived) and my wife would often decide that she'd rather spend the afternoon chatting to her mum as opposed to going to Priestfield. (I know, I know. Strange woman).

I used to have a terrace season ticket at the Goldstone. Anyone else have one of those? Had a ST at Withdean for a bit, but I haven't had one at the Amex.

I think this was my North Stand season ticket.

I think one was bought in my name, which couldn't have been very useful considering I was two years old.
