A well deserved point for Brighton today against league leaders Chelsea. We were even ahead for awhile !

We are so much better with Kirby in the side - she ran the show for bfhac until she went off. Haley had a very good game holding the ball up and laying it off.

I thought Noordam was brilliant too, so energetic - a great addition. The whole team were bloody brilliant to be fair, best I've seen Maddie play for us.

Both a thoroughly merited and much needed win away for Albion Women today.

The scoreline flattered Spurs - it could've been a heavier defeat for them rather than just Kirby's single strike.

Back up to 5th. Outside the top big 4, it would clearly be good to finish up as the best of the rest.

Guessing due to clash of weekends with men’s final giving it far less media coverage. I didn’t even know it was on. Maybe that’s why It’s a more ‘real’ attendance

With Derby located 2 hours from London and 90 minutes from Manchester, it wasn't likely to have an attendance similar to the Women's FA Cup Final.

City playing us at home the same day might have tempted some who would've like to have done both to choose the men's fixture and avoid travel.

An attendance of over 21k watched the 2024 final between Arsenal and Chelsea at Wolverhampton.

In 2023, more than 19,000 watched Arsenal and Chelsea at Selhurst Park.

Arsenal can and do bring the numbers. Outside of them, it's less clear.

Second highest attendance for a Women's League Cup final though. Last season they had 21,000.

It looks as though this competition just doesn't draw the fans. The 14k for the final is more fans than attended the QF and SF matches combined.

Its hard to care about a competition that even the authorities don't seem to care about. Rarely is the competition on even the YouTube channels, let alone TV and there is very little media coverage until the latter stages. As to having a final on a pitch like Derbys - ridiculous. Bits of it in the corners and one penalty area seemed to be mainly sand!

I see the women are putting in another disappointing performance, 3-0 down at the moment, and yet another own goal
