Absolutely love this - really encourages lateral thinking - caught up with all the archive games in recent weeks. No mistakes today.

Yes. I play it almost every day, along with Wordle and Spelling Bee.

In fact, I just did today's Connections and got it without a mistake in exactly the same order as you @Zeberdi

I used to play Connections - but stopped when there were just too many Americanisms.

Play Wordle every day though and currently on a 412 day winning streak.

Have played it for a while. It's ripped off Only Connect's wall and isn't anywhere near as fiendish, as it doesn't tend to use red herrings. It can be annoyingly parochial in it's use of American idioms, but they'd probably say the same about Only Connect. It's kept my interest for quite a while though. Puzzgrid.com is worth a go too.

I seem to have massively grown the number of these games I play every day since I kicked off with Wordle.

I'm now doing
Connections
Strands
Alphaguess
Stacked
Crossherd
Flipple
Categories
Wordscapes!

It all takes a while, but I genuinely feel it keeps my brain that little bit more active and alert.

Anyway, back to Connections – I find it sways massively from a piece of piss to genuinely impossibly baffling. Largely down to the Americanisms. All good fun, though.

I love Only Connect. I am absolutely useless at knowing the answers though.

Absolutely nothing to do with Victoria Coren Mitchell

I find Connections either really easy or almost impossible quite often due to Americanisms.

I don't play regularly like I do Wordle - here's why:
