Are the general knowledge questions on Mastermind getting easier?

Or maybe I am getting more intelligent; I could certainly answer more than normal on the last two or three programmes. I aim for 40 but had never done it, now I've done it three times in a row.

More intelligent? Not for me to say, and anyway, Mastermind doesn't test intelligence. You've simply accumulated more general knowledge over the years, as most people do if they have any sort of enquiring mind and a decent memory.

Definitely dumbed down. I used to get about half, on the show on I-player I got nearly all of them. It's not that I'm acquiring knowledge as my brain is has been somewhat successfully frazzled with beer.
