If you’re a parent and introduce yourself to someone you haven’t met before in a sporting or academic environment, do you regard yourself as the dad of or father of.

For me father is far too formal.

My kids call me dad. Therefore, I am the dad of.

Is it a class thing?

From when my kids were very little, whenever I came home I'd shout, "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssuppppp!!!!".

A bit of fun which always got smiles and laughs.

Anyway, after several YEARS of this, it transpired my kids thought I was ANNOUNCING MY ARRIVAL by saying my nickname!

Even now, they often call me Wozza.

Although you're not a parent I have noticed that you do tell a lot of 'Dad' jokes and make a lot of silly puns (and very good you are at it too).

I think that makes you a faux pa
That reminds me of the time that a load of us dads had a competition to see how high up a tree they could climb and I ended up further up than anyone else.

That day, I was Top of the Pops.
