The hypothetical football gods offer you a deal...

- Beat Villa but then lose to Palace, or
- Lose to Villa and then beat Palace

Which one do you take?

Despite the pain that will bring on Saturday, it's a no-brainer, isn't it? Win tonight strengthens our European ambitions, and that's all that matters right now...

Beat Palace. Putting aside the fact that the answer should always be beat Palace, especially if they have already beaten us this season, they are only three points behind Villa if they win their game in hand. They have taken 12 points from the last six games and Villa have taken 8. If this form continues, they will be just as much a danger to our European ambitions as Villa are.

I went for the other - lose to Villa and beat Palace... driven principally by the fact that as I am attending the game on saturday, I dread having to listen to them singing about Wembley and winning or get too much closer to us in the PL table! Of course, the right answer is beat Villa , a rival for Euro spot. I wish I believed we will win one of the games!!!

I've gone for the Villa win.

The Palace loss would hurt, but I'll remind you of the deal you took when we are in the quarter finals of the Europa League in the upper tier of the San Siro, while Palace are smugly telling us what a magician their latest manager is (let's call him Nathan Jones) for steering them to the giddy heights of 14th after guiding them to 4 straight wins and away from the relegation zone.

Voted same as you as doing the away on Saturday and couldn't bear a bad result there again.

If we hadn't lost our home game against Palace so pathetically, I'd feel able to vote the way Bozza's suggesting. But I just can't stomach the idea of them making us look useless twice this season.

We lost for Forest, and went on a six game winning streak. Then we lost to Forest again. So I'm expecting us to win the next six games.
We did not lose to Forest. The unbeaten streak continues!

I want us to beat Palace on Saturday. It's time to shut them up and hopefully end their good form and tank the finish to their season. If that means losing tonight, so be it. If that's worse for our overall ambition, so be it.

I will always want to beat Palace a little bit more, although Villa under their current manager are also bloody irritating. His facial expression makes me think “rat chewing through balsa wood.”

Talking amongst Villa fans where I work and they're a little pessimistic about their chances of winning tonight(apart from 1 I call "villa dreamer" who seems to think they will win the champions league Fa cup and win the league!🤣🤣. The rest are hoping for a win but happy with a draw as their away form isn't so good this season.
