Even the crime lords of fashion quickly gave up on the idea.

Yes also featured in rugby circles in the 80s and 90s where they were disarmingly but honestly called “ugly” shirts. I had a London Irish version, never wore it and it went to a charity shop during Covid (where it was probably binned )
