Of the three, Norwich must be the strongest financially, if they ever get in trouble, Delia wacks out another book telling us how to make a sandwich and club saved:rolleyes:

Before a ball is kicked next season we'll be top of the division, ten points ahead of Southampton. Sounds like it will be a good season already

Norwich, surely?

Norwich feel like more of a proper, big club to me - not least because they have a whole-county identity, which makes them a bit special. Southampton are just a big town club, rather than a big club. Charlton are top end of a medium-sized club, but that's about it.

Southampton? Leave off. They existed for YEARS on gates of 15,000.

Because they had too. As soon as their capacity doubled, so did their crowds.

Charlton for me, although Norwich have played in Europe.

Last time in the third tier:

Charlton: 1981
Norwich: 1960
Saints: 1960

FA Cup finals:

Charlton: 1 win, 1 runner-up
Norwich: No appearances
Saints: 1 win, 3 runner-up

League Cup finals:

Charlton: no appearances
Norwich: 2 wins, 2 runner-up
Saints: 1 runner-up

Saints all the way for me

As a former resident of Blackheath London SE3, I really like Charlton - even though while I lived there I could never bring myself to cheat on the Albion.

I also like the fact that they now seem to hate Palace even more than we do - we've got some great awaydays next season :yahoo:

What kind of mentalist has voted for Charlton?

Norwich and Southampton have definitely been bigger in my time of watching football (last 30 years).
No stats to back it up but I think Norwich have the most loyal away support of the three.
