Top quality assist for the Baleba winner, really created that goal.
He’s not a wide man, is the thing, he’s a 10 being played out of position at RM.A wide man who does not have pace or trickery. I've not been impressed with what I've seen so far, but I hope he can build on his fine assist for Mitoma's goal. Personally, bottom line - I'd sell to a decent Bundesliga side while his stock in Germany is still reasonably high.
I think he's got something too, and said very early on in the season. Theres somwthing a bit Grealish about uim. HOWEVER, I also now think he could really do with a loan. Unless he properly Ayari's it during the summer and comes back on another level. I think him setting up the goal covered his usual decision issues, too slow on the ball and ALWAYS overcomplicates things, runs into dead ends, turns back one too many times etc.I'll keep repeating it, I'm pretty convinced Gruda will be a world class player. His confidence and directness is rare in someone of his age. When things "click" he'll be one of our best players. Feel free to quote this in a year or two!
We could do worse than speak to Bayern Munich about a swap deal for Sacha Boey. They were very interested in Gruda, we were interested in Boey and we need a pacy right back. He’s not a wide man, is the thing, he’s a 10 being played out of position at RM.
Anyway, whom do you propose we sell him to, some underdog chasing Europe like Mainz?![]()
I agree, I am surprised that people don't see the potential. To be fair though I am not sure he will end up a wide player.I'll keep repeating it, I'm pretty convinced Gruda will be a world class player. More or less my thinking although I’m not as confident as you!I'll keep repeating it, I'm pretty convinced Gruda will be a world class player. His confidence and directness is rare in someone of his age. When things "click" he'll be one of our best players. Feel free to quote this in a year or two!
That’s right sign another injury prone playerWe could do worse than speak to Bayern Munich about a swap deal for Sacha Boey. They were very interested in Gruda, we were interested in Boey and we need a pacy right back.
This. Said it previously, he’s too predictable out wide, far better more centrallyI agree, I am surprised that people don't see the potential. To be fair though I am not sure he will end up a wide player.
So after yesterday we can take it you are now on board?Needless to say my work here is done.
Facu didnt fall behind Gruda. It was recognised that he needed far more game time than we have been able to give Gruda this season to develop and that was only going to happen somewhere else. That was going pretty well untiol Horse face turned up at Leicester.I thought Facundo was coming on in leaps and bounds and starting to look a real player, stronger, more aggressive, more productive. Don’t think he deserved to drop behind Gruda in the pecking order.
