I actually meant premier league era, as it seems a more recent phenomena

Our PL record in April is as follows (for those of a weak constitution you might want to look away now as it isn't great reading).

Pld 33 W6 D12 L15.

One slight consolation (for today anyway) is that 5 of the 6 wins have come away from home (the 6-0 over Wolves being our only home win and the last time we won any game in April).

I expect Wieffer has got the nod due to his height so that we have more height in the team to deal with Brentford’s physical attributes.
I like the idea of Mitoma off the bench in the second half as I doubt he’s fit enough for a full 90 minutes and he can certainly affect a game against tired legs.

We need to be right up for this one from the start.

3 of the 6 wins came in April 2023.

And to be fair we did also beat Spurs in that same month - but inexplicably lost after VAR......
