Weren’t doing that badly but they should have scored in the first two
minutes. It was a shocking first ten.

Very hard to win PL games 4-3, 3-2 when the team conceding first and a rubbish defence. Only LFC and ManC can do that with regularity … with a quality defence.

Far, far better to be difficult to score against as a basis for wins when at our level.

The other day a Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher broke a shoestring and had to borrow a shoestring of another colour from a player dressed but on the injury list.

Do you think the Albion kit people keep extra shoestrings for the players?
