Trying to shoehorn six new players at the start of the season (eight since January) was always going to be dodgy. At best.

I am not looking for support I just think FH is not up to the job he’s been given and would like to see him gone at season’s end. I have struggled to warm to him but have not called for his head until today. The team look lost and have got worse recently, even with the injuries the capitulation has been stark.

So maddening that the last two seasons, both full of promise, have shuddered to undignified and sudden stops. You can see why the supporters check out in the final weeks.

I really try to guard against becoming the entitled fan we all despise in other teams. We've never been in a relegation struggle and we went deep into the season with the prospect of "fun stuff" on the horizon. But it's hard to stay chipper when we don't just fail to make it over the line, but fall over and faceplant well short of it.

Not sure how to feel about our prospects for next season. While we've got a great plan off the pitch, I'm struggling to see anything on it. Thank God we've an owner who will keep a calmer head than us lot.

He should be sacked at season’s end and I hope he is, we are not going down and there is no rush to replace him. Summer reset please.
