We've had more injuries than anyone else. All season.
Not one of the deeper squads either
So you need to make sure the players you do bring in are good enough to make a contribution. The non selection of Cashin when Dunk looks like he’s running in quicksand is pretty telling.

Brighton
0-0 Ipswich at home
1-1 Southampton at home
2-2 Wolves at home
2-2 Leicester at home

is actually quite consistent

I think I’m most annoyed about this one out of all of those games because Leicester were just so unbelievably bad.

Even when we gifted them corners or openings they fluffed their lines. They didn’t grind out a draw. They didn’t even defend well. They didn’t rally and do it for the fans or up their game. They just played a normal game and of f***ing course they did us on the counter and scored from a set piece.

Just a total lack of balls.

So fed up with poor results/ performances against bottom teams.
WTF is wrong with our coaches?

What the f*** have they done to reverse it? They have done absolutely nothing about Minteh being able to use his right foot. So shocking. They just hide behind their IPads. It’s basic stuff especially when he is missing clear chances from this so they have to notice.

Corners, free kicks, crossing, shooting all Sunday league level. Is any of this addressed in training? Been shit for a while now?? 2 good penalties though.
Weirdly we were told Fab was obsessed with set pieces and it would be one of the first things we noticed.

Not sure what happened but the moment we made the substitutions on about 70 minutes, it was as if somebody let the air out of our tyres. The team stopped dead and let Leicester largely steamroller us for the rest of the game. Solly showed a little late fight and a desire to make things happen but by and large we were witless for the last quarter. So frustrating.

I predicted a draw beforehand so why am I so surprised and frustrated at yet another inept home performance ?
I mean, for 55 mins I thought we were excellent apart from a) finishing - could have been 5 or 6 at HT and b) unforced errors.

Then as if some cosmic force decended on the Amex and the blue and white stripes hithitherto in charge of the game, lost all ability to play football. It was bizarre to watch a game like a switch had been flicked. By the end Leicester could have won 4-2 from a HT they could have been 5 behind!

Diego Gomez was not good when he came on. It was like he just woke up and was told to put his shoes on. Not sure if he was confused with his role or got dragged down with the rest. But even bigger was the Minteh/March sub.

We had already started to fall apart a little before that, so the changes were reactive but the nail in the coffin was subbing Minteh off and leaving Hinsh (and often Dunk) to deal with Mavidid, something they had struggled with all game long. With Minteh out, there was no one who could match Mavididis pace and physicality, and they could also push their LB forward because there was no big risk of counter-attacks.

Obviously the lads noticed the terror Mavididi was exposing our RB and RCB to and in trying to deal with that, all structure and "formation" got lost somewhere in the panic.
