3 points. Amazing feeling at the end, but…..

Defensively we looked very vulnerable today, we can’t give better teams than United that space and those opportunities and not expect to be punished. That high defensive line didn’t work and the players (more so Dunk) were quite obviously frustrated with the system and lack of cover at times.

The result is everything. I get that, but for all the attacking quality we now have, we have and must be better in defence. Play like that next week and Arsenal will tear us apart.

Agree, Minteh doesn't look like they know what to do with him yet although the attacking quality does look very positive. But the defence had a complete brain fart which created Uniteds goal.

I can’t believe one of them called us hipster. We are lot things but hipster is not one of them.
It's a term thrown at us by a lot of the terminally online. It's less to do with us and more to do with the club being appreciated by 'hipster' pundits, who, unlike most of us, have heard of some of the players we sign.

Since Fab arrived have our balls gotten even bigger?

The balls have gotten bigger for the manager but for older players like Welbeck, Milner and to some extent Dunk, not really all that much older but experienced beyond his years, the balls are hanging lower, really aren't bigger.

I think the Zirkzee substitution had them give up the high press. That first 15 in the second half had us glide through them. A part-jammy goal for them thereafter, attacking a right side midfielder playing at leftback at last, and the luck of the stupid offside goal apart, we had the second half.

I think we just throw in the towel now
Accept that relegation is on the cards.

Seriously?

Unusual for us to have less possession than the opposition. I’m still trying to work out our style of play, there seemed to be a bit less slowly passing from the back and the wingers stayed high, but other than that there weren’t many clear patterns of play. What’s encouraging is we’ve picked up two wins while the team still looks like a work in progress.

Just dropped in to see the Man U fan reaction and wasn't expecting this thread. My Schadenfreude level just trebled after reading this.

We do have an above average share of tight jeans, no socks, white trainered bearded hipster fans tbh. We could probably do a decent trade in Albion beard oil in the club shop.:lolol:

Fabian Hurzeler speaking to BBC Match of the Day:

"It was very emotional, always when you get the win in the last minute it is. I think we deserved to win, we had a good game not a perfect game. There were also situations where United had the chance to win the game."

"I'm very proud of the team, they showed the value of never giving up and that's very important to me."

"I think the first half was equal and then in the second half we started to control the game quite well. We had a lot of chances, especially in the second half."

"Their goal for me was from out of nowhere. I then didn't like the losing the control. Then after their offside goal I think we started to control the game again. In the end, I think we deserved to win."

On goalscorer Joao Pedro:

"I think Joao is a player who can decide the game with one action. For me it was impressive today how he worked against the ball. He had the belief he would score and that's something that makes him special. But in the end it's always a team win and that's most important."
