As things stand, I think I'm right in saying that Albion will travel to ... Crystal Palace in the play-offs.

And we would be going there with only 2 wins in our last 14 non-Sussex Senior Cup fixtures.

Jason Steele should be doing better there.....
The clip doesn't show the ball being lost just before, the Reading player probably couldn't believe the time and space he found himself with as all he had to was pick his spot.

And there were some saying Steele might be a better option than Verbruggen.
Not great from Steele - or the defence really. The two young defenders who were on the bench on Saturday weren't playing, so it was far from our best U21 defence - and it looks as if Tasker and Simmonds might be on the bench again at the weekend - maybe Tasker even playing?

It seems that the PL2 round of sixteen play-off fixture at Palace has been set for Monday April 28 at 7pm (at Sutton United).

To be honest I'd be quite happy if we managed to score once.
It would be nice though. I know it's basically a new U21 Albion side, but the incentive might be more than enough.

Also looking forward to see how they get on in the HK7's in May

So, Palace U-21s host Albion as the Premier League 2 play-offs continue.

Given that Veltman and Lamptey are back in the first team squad, but didn't feature on Saturday, I wonder if either (or both?) will be given a run-out with the Newcastle game next weekend in mind?

Palace are showing the game live on Palace TV+ - I wonder if Albion will provide a stream?

Excellent suggestion AZGull - tbf I often think with your knowledge of our youngsters you should pick the team!

Gruda only had a few minutes on Saturday too. I realise that at this point of the season we need to be concentrating on the main prize (PL position) but maybe we could just boost the U21s a bit to make sure we get past Palace U21s, just this once..................
