Ok, you know the ropes: Do you want us to beat West Ham or do you want to see Palace in (another) FA Cup final? No fence, no both, just a straight choice.

I'll settle for Potter getting one over on us as the thought of Palace winning the Cup doesn't bear thinking about.
Do you really need to ask that question?

I'm only interested in the Albion, let other teams and other results take care of themselves.

Dont really care about Palace. 3 points for us makes top 10 very likely, and gives us a slim chance at Europe (if 8th is conference league).

Seriously? Who cares about those guys? Why shouldn't they gloat? We've been banging on to the point of absolute tedium about coming runners-up in the FA Cup for 40 years
If they win the FA Cup it would make it very hard to continue mocking them when things look good for us and shit for them

They’re already gloating by singing ‘wembereley!’ just for getting to the semi final! Let’s face it’s all going to end in tears. For them. Again.

Think l'd even prefer the Europa Conference if l'm honest, on paper at least we would have a better chance of winning the thing.

That said we do need to start winning games quickly.

Brighton win, then Palace losing to Forest in the final because of a deep-in-injury time own goal.

Bonus joy-points if at some point they can have had a 2 goal lead to throw away. (It may be petty but I'd like at least a few years' worth of memes being made of adult Palace fans sobbing at the final whistle.)

I'd take a Draw v West Ham if it meant Palace don't reach the cup final. Think we are almost certain to draw anyway so no skin off my nose :ROFLMAO:

But if Palace win this open the door to them winning the FA Cup and at the same time preventing us from qualifying for Europe. They would be laughing for centuries about that.

This.
Can't think of a more depressing scenario than that lot winning a trophy before us – and that in turn denying us Europe. They look quite dangerous to me at the moment, well capable of beating Villa on a one-off day at Wembley. I don't want them having a sniff in a proper cup-final.. where anything can happen.

I've gone for a Villa win / BHA loss Sat (sorry bad fan), but with the huge caveat that we win all our remaining fixtures (and clinch Conf. League on the last day at Spurs).

Doesn't matter how Palace do in the cup, if we lose the Euro dream is over (unless B'muff lose at home to Man Utd & Fulham lose away to Saints, neither of which will happen).
Brentford play Forest Thursday so we have a chance of putting a 5 point gap to them.

Lots of points to play for still even if West Ham does not go our way.
Judging how this season has gone so far.. we'll end up with wins against Toon, Liverpool and Spurs and maybe a win/draw at Wolves.

Gut feeling says this euro last place chase will go right to the final game with plenty of twists and turns. Ourselves, Brentford, Muff and Fulham all have similar challenging run-ins.

Well I don't ever want Brighton to lose but if its a straight choice on these two games I could live with us losing (again) at home and possibly missing out on Europe (which means little to me) if it means Palace being denied a shot at winning the FA Cup. Bad fan ?

Where's the option for Brighton & Villa win ?
