Broadband connection needed,without the landline phone or line rental. Any options ?

Current supplier BT for Broadband and landline phone. Sky for T/V. Virgin unavailable in our area. Out of contract so free to move.

Zero options. Only Virgin provide broadband without the need for a landline.

Only other method would be mobile and tether your PC but it depends if you stream/download a huge amount. Three offer unlimited data plans for mobile phones but a max of 4GB a month via tether. So as said, depends on what you get up to.

One main P/C and two laptops (for our lads) so really need unlimited not really into streaming (any of us) but plenty of Youtube etc.

broadband is provided by the landline. want the former you need the latter. nothing on the horizon about this situation changing. recommend Plusnet, i was very happy with them and their service when had issues, only left for the BT sport and M&S vouchers.

Why not just go for a 4G router. There's a good few to choose from. Not as quick as fibre, granted, but it's an option.

More expensive than a landline and only available in London.....according to Martin Lewis on radio 5 yesterday.

He suggested going for EE landline getting something like £99 in amazon vouchers back, being the cheapest way at the moment....as long as you need to spend £99 on amazon.

Fairy Nuff. EEs coverage check shows most of Brighton/South Coast area covered. I admit it isn't cheap though. O/P didn't say that cost was the over-riding issue.
