How are they both getting on at Leicester and Ipswich?
Buonanotte was doing very well at Leicester - until Van Nistelroy came along and promptly decided not to put him in the team ever again. Enciso doing OK at Ipswich, but it's a lost cause; he can't do much about that.
Fergi at West Ham? Well, that isn't working out as we would like.

I can't find a meme, and it certainly wouldn't be as recognisable to the masses, but it reminds me of Series 5 of Red Dwarf (the pinnacle and I will die on that hill).

The possie are in a jam as usual and the Cat says "well why don't we just crack open the lazer cannons and blast our way out of here?!" to which Kryten replies: "An adroit suggestion Sir with just two minor draw backs. 1. We don't have any lazer cannons and 2. we don't have any lazer cannons. I realise that technically this is only one reason but I thought it was such a big one that I should mention it twice."
While we’re being pedantic, the word is actually “laser” which is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.

Thanks. I’d been following Fergie at West Ham but not the other two.

I don’t see player development as part of FH’s skill set. Much more a ringmaster cracking the whip to get best out of players and if they don’t do as they are told or don’t miraculously become more abled, they are out.

Adingra was never exceptional under RDZ.
Dunk’s decline is clearly due to injuries or his body giving up. The signs were there last season under RDZ.
Once the club bought Gruda there needed to be loans for Buonnotte and Enciso. Neither were going to play ahead of Rutter and Pedro. To try and attack FH for these reasons is ridiculous. FH was also right to make Bart number 1 and to stop switching him.
March is coming back from a terrible injury and isn’t ready to start a game. Again this has nothing to do with FH’s management or ability to motivate.
Cool beans. Like I said I expected to be pilloried from some angles for my take and this is yours - which I respect but respectfully disagree. Adingra scored some wonderful goals and contributed a lot more than he has. You don't go from being the player of the tournament at AFCON to alsoran overnight.

There didn't NEED to be loans for Buonanotte OR Enciso just because we bought Gruda, who let's be honest has shown practically nothing to justify replacing either of them in the squad beyond how much we forked out.

I'd very much wager with all of GPott, RDZ and FH that the remit very much includes player development otherwise our model doesn't work. Out of the three i'd definitely say FH ranks flat last by a considerable margin.

To be ‘fair’ to FH how many young or new players have been fit enough for long enough to be improved this season? Has any young player been fit for more than 6 games in a row? Baleba the only one I can think of.
We simply have to stop buying players that are already injured.

JPVH - plateaued
Hinshelwood - regressed (up to you if you deploy the injury argument here, I personally don't)
Adingra
Ayari
Rutter
Gruda

Being ever present isn't a pre-requisite for having been improved by a coache's ability to educate, motivate or improve IMHO.

Well, in that case, JP has been out only consistent CB all season, Hinshelwood has been injured for a significant period, so it's justified to call out, Adingra was AWFUL after he returned from the AFCON during RDZs term and actually has had a decent season from the bench, Ayari and Rutter have both improved this season and Gruda arrived injured.

I still think we should have kept Goodnight this season, really hope we don’t move him on.

Enciso seems to be a lost cause though, shame

Adingra was never going to regularly start ahead of Mitoma or Minteh though so game time was always going to be very limited - as with Enciso and Buonanotte being behind Pedro and Rutter.
