Ends 1-1. Decent away result. And if you think commentators are biased in favour of the big six in the Premier league, try listening to commentary on a Wrexham game. The absolute DESPERATION for a Wrexham win!

Pretty disastrous first proper managerial experience for Calderon. Have now lost 8 of 9 matches at the business end of the season.

The only crumb of comfort is that Rovers' collapse won't prevent Crawley getting their well-earned relegation.

Well earnt because of 1 of their player‘s bad tackle on O’Riley ? Harsh, another game or 2 and Lindsay would have kept them up.
Calderon learns again grass isn’t greener, 1 swallow a summer does not make.

Why was it a ‘grass is greener’ move ? He’s gone from an academy position to his first full league pro job - a simple career development opportunity.

Cos it’s a big step up and he wasn’t ready for it as has been proved, if he keeps his job and leads them to promotion next season I’ll admit I was wrong

So he shouldn’t even bother testing himself?

He’s a pro sportsman he lives for the challenge. He did nothing wrong by making the step up from academy to men’s first team football even if this move hasn’t gone as well.

I know there was a lot of talk of it being a shitshow at Rovers before he joined. But if managers took notice of that sort of noise we’d have never got Steve Gritt managing us in 96. If it works you are a hero, if not you can point to the off field problems as to why it didn’t work in your next interview.
