You should even if it is just for peace of mind. If you have sleep apnoea, DVLA have to be informed.
I will mention it. Although I'm not tired during the day, except when I'm staring at a screen for hours on end. I've never woken up gasping for breath.

Would never have thought so but having become a father on Friday it’s a YES from me.
Congratulations, it was about a year before ours started sleeping through, probably one of the worst years of my life.

Chuffing love sleep, don't get enough of it but that's the life of a shift worker with 2 kids.

One of the best decisions I ever made was sleeping in a different room to the wife, I snore, she hits me, neither of us got a decent night's sleep. Now we both get a better sleep, we argue less during the day and it solves the problem of having more kids.

Sleep isn't a hobby, it's a lifestyle.

I only sleep for two hours a go at night. So wake up four or five times. I don't know what causes it. But am going to mention it to the doctor. I haven't slept through a night since I can remember. I don't know what that feels like.
Likewise only I can never stay asleep for an hour without waking up? It's either pain or needing a wee that gets me up.

The first few months are tough. Even a couple of decades on, the memory leaves me feeling a lot of sympathy with those of you who live with interrupted sleep over longer periods. Although, my wife always takes perverse pleasure in telling new parents 'Congratulations, you'll never sleep peacefully again,' as even after they start sleeping themselves, you never stop worrying about them, no matter how old they get.

Pretty sure hobbies are things you do in your spare time...like the time spare when you're not sleeping.

Exactly my point. What if you choose to sleep in your spare time?

Most people would term this, a waste of time, but is it, if you enjoy doing it?

Is sleep as a hobby any more of a waste of time than doing any other activity that qualifies as a hobby? If so, why?

Not in the case of my other half. He had to go to Conquest hospital near Hastings. The monitor showed he stopped breathing five or six times in one night.

Now he has a machine, the memory card does monitor it at home. The machine keeps him breathing normally.

Okay, I guess that is an American thing but the way it started happening here I thought it would be something happening all over the world. It's much cheaper to do at home.
