Our squad could do with a season without having the most injuries in the division.
Being in Europe doesn't seem to be a factor in that.

Not to us - we needed to beat City for that.
I’ll take another sequence of six wins and a draw though…

If we’re the PL injuries champions this season, anyone here know how we stood in 2023/24 in that respect? From memory it was devastating, especially to likely first teamers.

but, but all our games are winnable....
And the Fishy super computer says we could....
And Leicester haven't scored a goal or won a pt for 8 matches
And we always beat West Ham and Wolves

We were pretty bad but not the worst - The issue was we hadn't replaced the players we'd lost, which made the injuries more impactful.

Nah, it's over for this season.
Injuries, inconsistent form and performances, and our usual struggles to beat teams in the bottom 10, have combined to destroy the dream.
We're simply not quite good enough. A 9th or 10th place finish would be just about right for a team "of our levels. These are a tough league".

None. The injuries vs Forest were body blows. The defeat to Villa ended it.

It's interesting how different media outlets report on this.
Yesterday I heard one Podcast state that CL was a possibility all the way down to Palace, and another report that the top 7 were done and dusted.

All teams can probably say this though.
Palace bang on about their terrible start.
They drew with leicester and Wolves and lost to Everton, too

Fulham are above us now but they allowed Utd to do the double over them; drew at home to Southampton; drew home and away with Ipswich; and were thumped at home by Wolves. Quite a few dropped points there
