Personally, Calderon back in at fullback, Reyes into midfield and vicente pushing the ball around with CMS and an other up front.

I think that is probably the best debut I have seen.

Not since gotsmanov and mortimer have I seen a player so composed on the ball

Hopefully west brom will let us have him for the season.

personally think reyes is wasted at rb. calderon has been good enough there. so i agree bring calde back , reyes partnering bridcutt at cm but a bit more advanced . then take your pick of the wingers buckley, vicente and noone. vicente and noone for me and cms and hoskins up front. barnes was terrible last night

I thought he looked class too.

Wish all these little injury problems our players are having would clear up and they all get decent runs, playing together.

I couldn't agree more, David.

Top Bombing. :clap2:

Edit: Actually, are you thinking with or without Bridcutt? I guess if he retained the holding position, Noone could play a free role behind the front pair (although that would leave us dreadfully outnumbered in midfield). Maybe we'd be better off still playing CMS on his tod & using the 2 wide players Noone & Buckley?) to provide him with balls he can use his pace to run on to? Hmmmmmmmmm...

As horrible as the injury to Dicker is and I wish him a speedy recovery it could be a sort of blessing in disguise for us if it releases Reyes to go alongside Bridcutt

I too thought Reyes was wasted at RB. It would be very interesting indeed to see him in the midfield. An excellent debut last night I thought.

Whilst I accept none of us are going to understand it, I'd be suprised to see Calderon back in the side.

He was dropped for the Palace game and now replaced by Reyes. Gus has obviously got concerns about Calde and doesn't think he's performing well enough for us.

Think that is the best starting 11 from our squad. Uses all the players to their strengths. Barnes has always been a good impact sub (or when we get a pen.....) Hoskins Lua Lua as subs also to bring on if we need a change. I like this lineup a lot!

Teach Lua Lua and Noone how to defend, great wing backs, and we're sorted. Might let a few in though....
